Happy One Year Anniversary, Kaitlyn & Daniel! 

When I originally received a phone call from Kaitlyn back in May of 2020, and listened to her describe the snowy, mountain wedding she was planning, I couldn't wait to document it.  Her Pinterest Board of wedding ideas was so perfect and dreamy...bridesmaids in snow boots, white flowers bouquet set against pale blue bridesmaid dresses and surrounded by Colorado's snow capped mountains.  It was a perfect winter wonderland.

Months of planning went into her dream wedding but Covid restrictions failed to let up and a decision was made to move to a venue closer to Denver that was willing to accommodate her guests.  It was a unseasonably warm, February day and snow was no where to be found.  But Kaitlyn and Daniel found their joy in their love for each other, not in circumstances.  They were going to be married at the end of the day with or without snow. 

Isabelle from Isabelle Kline Designs helped Kaitlyn and her mom plan every gorgeous detail for the wedding at Castle Cliff Estate.  The gorgeous weather made guests feel warm and welcome.  The day went without a hitch.

Towards the end of the night, while photographing the first dances, I happened to look out the window into the dark saw Kaitlyn's miracle.  Snow had begun to fall. And it wasn't just a soft snowfall but it had started really coming down hard.  Within minutes, the ground and trees were all covered and I knew we had to create some epic shots to end the night!  

Kaitlyn and Daniel, thank you for allowing me to document your amazing wedding day!  Cheers to your first year of marriage!  I hope all of your big and little dreams come true!
